Yay. I’m holding off on watching this release of Bakemonogatari though until you have released the other 2 as well so I can finish this great series off with one bang.
Well Wesley, let’s look at this with a wider perspective. Fansubbing isn’t done by just one person, and it certainly isn’t a one step process. Each person certainly can’t do all the job, so… is there something wrong with a translator starting their translation on the next ep before whatever ep they translated is released? Or a timer timing the next ep before the ep they timed is released? I certainly do not see anything wrong with that, but maybe that’s just me.

Let me set the record straight. There is no Bakemonogatari season 2, and as far as I am aware, there are no plans for one. When I said we were working on it, I was screwing with whoever said that they had found raws. A simple google search shows that this is not possible, as they do not exist.

Just thought I should mention this, no matter how little it may seem. At 12:16, the line says “That my sister’s friend I mentioned yesterday, Sengoku Nadeko.” I’m guessing form context that it’s supposed to be “That way my…”? And is it just me or did you guys increase the vertical padding in the subs in the more recent episodes?

The webcasts will be on two different BDs, episode 13 on volume 5 released on Jan 27th, and episodes 14 and 15 on volume 6 released on Feb 24th.
