I wasn’t being 100% serious there. Basic gist is that other fansubs who claim they need your money are lying or managed by people who really shouldn’t be fansubbing in the first place.

I just wanted to do a holier-than-thou rant. I humbly thank you for offering some of your money to us. That was really nice of you. Seriously, thanks. Your comment made a number of people’s days.

Whoops! Didn’t mean to make people quite so cross…

You’ll need to understand that I’m utterly helpless w/r/t the culture (think: bull-in-china-shop). And I REALLY didn’t mean to offend anyone. And, I DO recognize it’s a labor of love & I didn’t mean to demean that. It’s just that many of the fansub sites I visit have a paypal contribution mechanism – if only for maintaining the site’s server/etc. And I’m always happy to donate a few coins to cover costs, etc.

Didn’t mean to imply anything adverse. Quite sorry about it.
